Crossing the Golden Horn by boat to join the Museum of Industry. It is the first museum on the history of industry, transport and communications in Turkey. Among other things, it displays magnificent original machinery for locomotives, airplanes and vintage cars. You can also admire a tug and a submarine.

Balat a little further upstream of the Golden Horn, follows the district of Fener. It represents the same popular atmosphere, the wooden houses here replacing the stone houses. It is in Balat that the Jews expelled from Spain by the Inquisition settled from 1492. It is also in Balat that we find the oldest authentic restaurants always popular connoisseurs.Return to Karaköy by crossing the Golden Horn by boat.
