Meet the guide and driver at the hotel at 8.30. After driving nearly 210 km to Hattusas. we arrive in Hattusas which was the capital of the Hittite Kingdom for a long time. Before visiting the main capital the Hattusas, we proceed to Yazilikaya to see the open air sanctuary as the sun light comes on the bas-reliefs direct in the morning. We will get our lunch in a local restaurant. After the lunch we visit the archaeological site of Hattusas, former capital of the Hittite Empire which is notable for its urban organization, the types of construction that have been preserved (temples, royal residences, fortifications), the rich ornamentation of the Lions’ Gate and the Royal Gate and Tunnel. After a full day guided tour of Hittite Heritage in Turkey we drive back to Cappadocia.

This is a regular group tour in English. There are about 15-20 people on the tour. The tour operates between 08.00-19.00 with pick up and drop off from Cappadocia hotels included. The tour including transportation with air-contidioned vans or small tour buses, entrance fees, lunch and professional guidance.
