Upon our meeting at Kusadasi Port or your hotel we depart for the world's second largest open-air farmer's market in the hillside town of Tire that lies just 32 miles out of Kusadasi port town. It is a local market held every TUESDAY with different products from the region.
While wandering in the market within the historical part of the town you will have a chance not only see and talk to local producers but also take hundreds of great pictures and buy their fresh and delicious products.
Kent Müzesi (city museum) is our second stop to see the rich history of Tire with its local artisans like felt makers, copper workers, saddlebag makers who still give examples of their local crafts.
Are we hungry? We are at the right address. We may use one of the local restaurants to taste long, thin fingers of meatball of Tire with creamy sheep milk yogurt.
We stop at some local shops on the way back to the port or hotel, if interested.
