After the monastery you will go back to the city to visit Atatürk Pavilion where the founder of modern Turkey stayed for a couple of days, learn the legacy of Atatürk and enjoy the architecture and the scenery. Then you will go to the neighboring town called Akçaabat to have famous Akçaabat Meatballs at a nice restaurant. After lunch you will go to Hagia Sophia of Trabzon and learn about the history of the building and see the great frescoes on the wall with the lecture of your guide. After that, you are going to go for a walk in the city to experience the daily life in Trabzon, visit an old mosque which used to be an Orthodox church.
