Day 1: Arriving, Wine-Tasting & Experiencing a Traditional Turkish Bath

Stop At: Goreme, Goreme, Cappadocia
Our group tour starts in Goreme, a base from which to visit Cappadocia’s cave dwellings. Tour members would be arriving at different times. Some may be jet lagged while others, not. Those who have the energy are taken on a wine-tasting tour in the early evening. The evening ends with a traditional bath at a nearby spa.

Day 2: Hot-Air Balloon Ride Over Cave Dwellings, Discovering an Underground City & Much More

Stop At: Kaymakli Underground City, Derinkuyu Turkey
The day starts with an early-morning hot-air balloon ride over the cave dwellings of Cappadocia. Following this is a group tour of the area: ancient homes carved out of rock, the underground city of Kaymakli, the surreal-looking rock formations of Pasabagi (a.k.a. Monks' Valley) and Devrent (a.k.a. camel rock), Ihlara Gorge, Soganli Valley, Uchisar Castle and the Goreme Open Air Museum.

Day 3: The Beach Town of Kuşadası

Stop At: Kusadasi Market, Kusadasi Turkey
Let’s fly from Goreme to Izmir and take a 1.5-hour drive to Selcuk, a base from which to visit Ephesus. We wouldn’t have enough time to see Ephesus on the same day. After checking into our room in Selcuk, let’s take a 30-minute drive to Kuşadası. This town offers some beaches where we could go swimming. Otherwise, there are a handful of sights we are to show you, such as the city walls and castle.

Day 4: The Hot Springs & Travertine Limestone of Pamukkale

Stop At: Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Pamukkale Turkey
Let’s make a daytrip via a 2.5-hour drive to Pamukkale, a natural site consisting of hot springs and travertine limestone. Tourism is and has been a major industry in the area. People have bathed in the pools for thousands of years. Bring your swimming attire!

Day 5: The World-Renowned Archaeological Site of Ephesus

Stop At: Ephesus Museum, Selcuk Turkey
Still based in Selcuk, it’s time to visit the world-renowned archaeological site of Ephesus. Ephesus is one of the largest Roman archaeological sites in the eastern Mediterranean. The visible ruins still give some idea of the city’s original splendor and the names associated with the ruins are evocative of its former life.

Day 6: Walking Through the Alleys of the Mediterranean Town of Bodrum

Stop At: Bodrum Bazaar, Bodrum Central Bus Station, Bodrum City Turkey
Let’s take a 2.5-hour drive from Selcuk to Bodrum, a town best used specifically as a starting off point to cruise along the Turkish Riviera, all the way until Fethiye. We should be roaming the small streets of Bodrum in the daytime and partying once the sun sets. Bodrum is seasonally popular for its nightlife scene.

Day 7: Cruising the Turkish Riviera & Otherwise Visiting Ancient Sites

Stop At: Oludeniz, Oludeniz, Mugla Province, Turkish Aegean Coast
Let’s take a boat from Bodrum to Fethiye, home of the gorgeous Oludeniz lagoon. Boat durations between Bodrum to Fethiye vary but usually do not take more than 4 hours. We should be staying in Fethiye just for the one day arriving from Bodrum specifically to see sights in town such as the Tomb of Amyntas as well as to enjoy the lagoon.

Note that if you wish to go paragliding over Oludeniz lagoon, please ask us about rates and availability. The experience is unforgettable.

Day 8: Relocating From Turkey to Greece & Exploring Rhodes Island

Stop At: Lindos, Lindos, Rhodes, Dodecanese, South Aegean
Fethiye is the final destination on our group tour of Turkey. Now it is time for Greece. We are to take a 1.5-hour boat ride from Fethiye to the island of Rhodes, in Greece. Rhodes Town is a great base from which to check out the island. Let's spend the day both sightseeing and enjoying the beaches.
A medieval town protected by fortification and graced by a maze of streets featuring inviting restaurants, cafés and shops, the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the beautiful island capital that is Rhodes Town – an architectural gem of the Aegean Sea. Other treasures of this fairly populace and self-sustaining island include the village of Lindos and its acropolis, castles, archeological remains, rocky and scenic mountains, exotic beaches and clear and calm waters along the southern coast.

Day 9: Sightseeing Around the Island & in the Capital (Rhodes Town)

Stop At: Rhodes Town, Rhodes Town, Rhodes, Dodecanese, South Aegean
Taken as a whole, Rhodes successfully balances its heritage with being a tourist-friendly and relatively well-organized destination. Rhodes is what you want it to be: a paradise for partygoers, a retreat for families and/or an island home of rich culture and well-preserved traditions. We are to get a taste of it all on today's tour. There is much to see in both the capital and around the island.

Day 10: A Daytrip to the Small Island of Symi

Stop At: Symi, Symi, Dodecanese, South Aegean
Today we are to make a daytrip via a 1.5-hour boat ride to Symi. This island has become a haven for tourists from abroad, especially from the United Kingdom and Italy. We are to explore the island by car and otherwise enjoy the picturesque harbor.

Day 11: Our Tour Ends This Morning
