Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Today you will begin your journey to Masindi where you find Murchison Falls National Park. The long drive is incredibly scenic, passing through the exclusive green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda. Drive to the Red Chilli Rest Camp for lunch and overnight. The camp is positioned on the southern bank of the Nile River in the close range of about 500m to Paraa jetty, established in the heart of the park. Go to the top of the falls to see the most spectacular waterfalls squeezing through a 6m gap in the rock crashing through a narrow gorge with unbelievable power. Retire for the evening boat cruise to the peaceful Victoria Nile and the base of the fall just a few meters from the devil’s cauldron. There you can see pleasant hippos, crocodiles and over 17 – meters stretch you may see elephants, waterbucks. You will also have an opportunity to view many bird species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork

Accommodation included: Overnight at Red Chili Rest Camp, a 3 star Forest camp established in the heart of the park

Day 2: Game drive

Stop At: Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison Falls P.O.Box 455, Masindi Uganda
Go for an early morning game drive on the northern bank. With the help of the guide, you will spot elephant, lion, Roth child’s giraffe, Cape buffalo, waterbuck, hartebeest, bushbuck, if you are lucky the leopard and other animals. Retire to start on the journey back to Kampala.
