Stop At: Porte de Paris, Place Simon Vollant, Lille France
The Porte de Paris is an Arc de Triomphe that was built in the 17th century to commemorate Louis XIV conquering the city. If you have been around Europe, you will notice that most of the Arcs are 'open', however, this one is more like a building.

The Place Charles De Gaulle, named after a french general and president De Gaulle who was born in the city, is the main square of Lille. This is where you'll end up if you're looking for bars and restaurants.

Day 3: Bruges, Belgium

Stop At: Belfry of Bruges, Markt 7, 8000 Brugge, Belgium
The Belfry of Bruges is a medieval bell tower that sits in Market Square, and it is listed as one of the top things to do in Bruges. It’s 366 steps to reach the top and once you do you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the city.

The main attraction of the Basilica of the Holy Blood is the Holy Blood. Inside the church, there's a phial made of rock crystal filled with blood brought to the city by Thierry of Alsace after the 12th century Second Crusade. This phial is believed to contain the blood of Jesus Christ and it’s brought out to be worshipped by believers every day.
