Belfast Hills Walking Tour

Unique experience of Belfast and an escape to nature walking along the beautiful Black Mountain ridge trail. Lots of amazing wildlife in their natural habitat including the native Irish Hare as well as Ireland's only species of lizard which is native to only this habitat! Keep an eye out for red grouse, skylarks and peregrine falcons as you scale Black Mountain for unbeatable views across the Belfast.

The walk offers a great mixture of environments to explore: tarmac roadway towards the masts; wooden boardwalk across the bog to the summit of the Black Mountain and open countryside across the top of the Black Mountain and Black Hill.

We will see the beautiful Divis and Black Mountains which overlook Belfast whilst being immersed in nature. Black Mountain ridge trail. Keep an eye out for red grouse, skylarks and peregrine falcons as you scale Black Mountain for unbeatable views across the Belfast. This is a beautiful walk in the mountains above Belfast's western side with amazing views and vistas of the city below.
