Dornoch Cathedral

Operates: Leaving Invergordon at 9am we will take the coast road up past Kilmuir Church and head coastal across the Pictish Trail to Portmahomack and the Tarbat Discovery Centre - where you can find out all about the picts and remains they have found from the 8th century! Then we head over to Tain and stop at the Museum for more exploring of the Picts in the Highlands. Next is up over the Dornoch Firth and a stop in one of the bonniest wee towns in Easter Ross and a walk round the Cathedral there. We will also 'grab a bite' here from one of Dornochs local Deli's before heading across Rogart towards Lairg where we will stop to stretch the legs and check out 'Jock Broons Wee Hoose' on Loch Shin before we loop round towards Bonar Bridge - always a lovely place to stop for photos. Next stop is Andrew Carnegies Millionaires View, before I take you back to your floating hotel, full of beans and happy with the days adventure.
