Starting with a drive across the stunning landscape that is Dartmoor for a short stroll up Haytor. The views are stunning.

Then Visit a very photogenic 1850 Granite Quarry. + many other Photo opps.

Visit - Widecombe in the moor, DartMeet and Hexworthy, - beautiful locations.

Leaving the Moors travel back down to the lovely unspoilt Devon Town of ASHBURTON. - visit the Hound of Baskervilles Pub - also visit the numerous ANTIQUE Shops in this unspoilt quaint town. Then following the River Dart and Buckfast Steam Train line to Dartington for a brief visit. ( see the ‘Great Hall’ and beautiful Gardens) Then on to TOTNES

Time to visit the Museum, Guildhall and get a feel for this quaint & now regarded as an ‘alternative’ town. [free time] On to Sharpham vineyard, then Ashprington [one of the most picturesque villages in Devon]

Stop At: Dartmoor National Park, United Kingdom

Walk up Hay Tor. Plus visit the 1850 open cast Granite Mine. [great Photo opportunity] Visits to Widecombe in the Moor, ( coffee time ) DartMeet, Hexworthy, passing Venmoor Reservoir to Holne then down to Ashburton.

Stop At: Ashburton Antiques Trail, North Street, Ashburton, Dartmoor National Park TQ13 7QJ England

We will visit the lovely little unspoilt Devon town, giving you a chance to explore the antique shops of this ‘stannary’ town - where tin was assessed, coined (taxed & payable to the Duchy of Cornwall), and sold. Lots of lovely Antique Shops to visit.

You can also visit ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’ pub / cafe, full of interesting memorabilia !

Stop At: Dartington Hall Estate and Gardens, Elmhirst Centre The Dartington Hall Trust, Dartington, Totnes England

View the Great Hall & wander the beautiful grounds.

Visiting many and various Totnes attractions, including the ancient Guildhall, Museum & Leech Wells.
