Edinburgh The Athens of the North
I intend to transport the contemporary visiter back to Edinburgh's golden age when its impact on Europe was as great as any other city. By the end of the tour, the traveler would have heard some of the greatest poetry to come out of Scotland, received a taste of some of the philosophy from which the modern world was forged, acquired an appreciation for the architecture throughout the city and heard anecdotes which will help to imagine Robbie Burns running around the city today.
