The Old Duchy Palace is the First Palace to the first Duke of Cornwall , the ground floor know as the Undercroft can be viewed by stepping down into the first section of the building with a traditional barrelled ceiling and under the tide line its an interesting medieval space , then through to the upper floor into the main hall with its stained glass windows its full interesting features including a a mural from the freemason"s painted in 1878 of the all seeing eye , a fabulous piece of artwork. We have info about the history of the building throughout its a great tour and a chance to see the use of the building being well utilised and kept by a local Interior Heritage Designer Anna Dianne. We welcome everyone into the building to quite simply enjoy its history and heritage and also the town of Lostwithiel.
