Stop At: Islay, Islay, The Hebrides, Scotland

I can lead you on walks to visit the ruins of townships that were abandoned during the clearances which took place on Islay in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Join me on a trek to Islay’s natural wonders of Soldier’s Rock and the sheer cliffs on the Mull of Oa, and take in the American Monument, a memorial to the sinking of two troopships off Islay’s coast during World War 1.

Let me take you on a wee spin to the historical seat of the Lords of the Isles at Finlaggan and their ancient stronghold at Dunyvaig.

Visit Kildalton Churchyard to see the iconic Kildalton Cross, considered to be the finest Celtic High Cross in Scotland.

And, of course, take a pilgrimage to the nine (and counting) distilleries that make the finest Islay Single Malts.
