Laxey and the Northern plains with qualified and experienced driver guide
From Victorian Douglas we will head north along the coast road, stopping at Laxey an old mining town that is home to one of the most spectacular water wheels in the world. On the outskirts we visit King Orry's grave a Neolithic burial site, before visiting the church at Maughold which was the site of a monastery in the days of early Celtic Christianity and is site of some of the islands stories in stones
Travelling north to the to the Point of Ayre, the northern most point on the island past rich plains and farmlands before returning to Douglas via Ramsey and from there travel over part of the iconic TT course which started in 1907 via the mountain road and finish in Douglas after seeing the famous Grandstand.
