Outlander was filmed mostly around Edinburgh and Fife. Enjoy an exciting day trip and see the stunning locations where this masterpiece was filmed. Stunning buildings, majestic landscapes, fascinating history brought to life with this tour. Definetely one of my favourite tours.

Large parts of Outlander were filmed in and close to Edinburgh, so it is very easy to visit lots of the locations. We start from your hotel and head to the Royal Mile for a photo opportunity of the Signet Library (Governor's mansion, Jamaica). Tweedale Court (18th century street in 3rd series, episode 6. ) Bakehouse Close (where Jamie's print works were in episode 3). Then we head to the ruin Craigmillar Castle (Ardmuir Prison). From here, we head north to Hopetoun House (Duke of Sandringham) and Midhope Castle (Lallybroch). We then head across the Forth Bridge to the ancient village of Culross, (Cranesmuir, Geillis Duncan). After this, we head along the coast to the village of Dysart (French port of Le Havre) and then we head North to the village of Falkland (Inverness in early episodes series 1) After Falkland, we will head back to your hotel, where the tour will finish.
