Clan Tours have been taking our guests on Outlander Tours for over 3 years and have formed many friendships along the way. As we like to say we may have met as strangers, we will depart as friends. We offer a variety of 1 day Outlander tours and our exclusive 4 day Outlander Experience Tour. All our tours include lunch and entry into all the locations.

So follow in the footsteps of Claire and Jamie as John & James take you on your very own Outlander adventure. Let your imagination become reality as we travel to many of the locations made famous from the show. We will share our inside knowledge of the show from production to the characters, enjoy the finest Scottish hospitality and visit the places of our ancestors. Itinerary

Day 1: Where it all began

Stop At: Craigmillar Castle Road, Edinburgh EH16 4SY Scotland
Castle exploring and Outlander filming stories
Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Falkland Palace & Garden, 11 miles north of Kirkcaldy, Falkland KY15 7BY Scotland
Explore where it all began, stand where we first saw Jamies Ghost
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Royal Burgh of Culross, A985, 4 Miles East of the Kincardine Bridge, Culross KY12 8JH Scotland
Explore the Culross, Geillis Herb Garden, The Witch Trials and Geillis's house.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Aberdour Castle, Aberdour KY3 0SL Scotland
Explore where Jamie recoverd at Abbey Ste Anne de Beaupre after his incarceration at the hands “Black Jack” Randall.
Duration: 1 hour

Meals included:

Day 2: The Mackenzie's

Stop At: Doune Castle, Castle Hill, Doune, Stirling FK16 6EA Scotland
Home of the Mackenzie's explore this amazing castle, try on some of the Outlander clothing.

Stop At: Tibbermore Parish Church, Tibbermore Road inbetween the A9 and the A 85, 200 yards south of Tibbermore crossroads, Perth PH1 1QJ Scotland
Explore this historic church relive the Witch Trials where Jamie comes to Claire's rescue.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Drummond Gardens, 2 miles south of Crieff on the Muthill Road (A822) Drummond Castle, Crieff PH7 4HZ Scotland
The magnificent Drummond Gardens doubled as the Gardens of Versaie. They are truly breathtaking and hard to belive we are still in Scotland.

Stop At: Callendar House, Callendar Rd, Falkirk FK1 1YR, UK
The KItchen at Callendar House is featured as the Duke of Sandringham's kitchen where he loses his head.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 3: Culloden - Battlefield

Stop At: Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre, Culloden Moor IV2 5EU Scotland
We will spend most of the day at Culloden Battlefield and learn about the the true history of the Jacobite Rebellion

Stop At: Clava Cairns, Balnuaran of Clava, IV2 5EU Scotland
One of the many standing stones sites in Scotland. Will you dare to pass through the stones
Duration: 1 hour

Day 4: Wedding Bells - Auld Kirk

Stop At: Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot Mill, East Linton EH40 3DS Scotland
Preston mill is a facinating place, made more rememerable when Jamie took his clothes off to fix the water wheel

Stop At: Midhope Castle, Near Abercorn, South Queensferry, Edinburgh EH52 6QZ Scotland

Stop At: Blackness Castle, Blackness, Linlithgow EH49 7NH Scotland
Jamies Incarceration with Black Jack Randall
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Linlithgow Palace, 9 Kirkgate Sulisker, Boghall, Linlithgow EH49 7AL Scotland
Linlithgow Palace doubles as Wentworth Prison.
