Over the Sea to Skye - Highland Photography Tour - Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh

Join me for a Scotland360° Photo Tour, exploring the iconic scenery on the road to Skye and Lochalsh.

Everyone is welcome, whatever experience or photographic ability.

From Inverness, we travel to Kintail with stops to photograph majestic mountain scenery. We then drop down to beautiful Loch Duich. where iconic Eilean Donan Castle provides inspiration for capturing great composition.

A short drive to the Isle of Skye provides opportunities to capture the Skye Bridge from the viewpoints at Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin. The island of Eilean Ban, once the home of Gavin Maxwell, add to the scenic setting. We head northwards to Plockton, one of the jewels of the Highlands, on the shore of Loch Carron.

Throughout the day, photographic potential abounds with classic views of iconic settings.

In this Photo Tour, I offer photography tuition in landscape photography, with particular emphasis on perspective and composition, developing your photography techniques in inspirational settings.

There are opportunities to take photographs of this historic castle from classic viewpoints.

We will spend some time at the viewpoint looking over to the Skye Bridge and Kyleakin before a short trip to Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye

From Kyleakin, there is a lot of photographic potential looking over to Eilean Ban, the home of Gavin Maxwell, author of "Ring of Bright Water"
