Private Doctor Who Tour of Cardiff and South Wales

This is the perfect tour for die-hard Doctor Who fans! Starting in the morning with the Doctor Who Walking Tour of Cardiff which takes in Cardiff's National Museum, City Centre, and Castle after a brief stop for lunch (where you will also be able to explore Cardiff Castle) we will then travel to the filming locations of Farringham Village, Leadworth, and Bad Wolf Bay before finishing in Cardiff Bay. Whilst exploring these filming locations you will uncover the history and importance of the filming locations that you are visiting, how these locations were used in various episode and who filming was managed, and even some behind the scenes secrets!

During the tour, we will visit the famous Bad Wolf Bay, which is approximately an hour's drive from Cardiff. Because of the tide, we will require some flexibility in the itinerary in order to travel to and from Bad Wolf Bay, but all our planned locations will be visited during the tour.

Stop At: Cardiff Bay, Cardiff Wales

The tour will take in the sites from both Doctor Who and Torchwood that were filmed in and around Cardiff Bay.

Stop At: National Assembly for Wales, Pierhead Street Cardiff Bay, Cardiff CF99 1NA Wales

The National Assembly for Wales, known as the Senedd, is the home of Welsh devolved democracy.

Once through security, you will learn how this government building has been used in Doctor Who and how the James Bond film 'Spectre' was refused filming access.

Stop At: National Museum Cardiff, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NP, UK

We will visit the National Museum Cardiff, which is a filming location for several Doctor Who episodes as well as 'The Blind Banker' episode of Sherlock.

We will also explore the nearby civic centre which includes St Luke's University from series 10, the location of Danny Pink's death and 'Sheffield' police station

Llandaff and its cathedral appear in several episodes of Doctor Who and also gives you the chance to glimpse a location that inspired the children's author Roald Dahl.

Stop At: St Fagans National Museum of History, St Fagans, Cardiff CF5 6XB Wales

As part of the tour, we will visit Wales' most popular tourist attraction which is home to numerous historic buildings that have been conserved through their reconstruction at St Fagan's Museum. Several of these buildings have appeared in a popular Tenth Doctor episode.

St Fagan's is also where we will take a lunch break either in their excellent cafe or, if prefered customers may bring their own packed lunch or picnic to enjoy within the grounds.
