Stained Glass Course

I have had many years experience working with stained glass. My workshop is in a great location and there are very few of these working mews left in Brighton. I enjoy working closely with people and learning more about them and sharing my knowledge with them.

Itinerary

Students will be made aware of Health and Safety aspects of the day. The morning will be spent learning the basics of the Tiffany Foiling technique, ie, Cutting glass, the foiling the glass and then soldering the pieces together. They will have a break for lunch and the afternoon will be spent overseeing them while they make they're own small mirror or stained glass panel using no more than 10-12 straight edged pieces of glass. These limitations ensure that the student will have the time to complete a piece of work to take away with them.
