This is the ultimate day tour for people who enjoy hopping on and off the bus and exploring the great outdoors! Ullapool is one of Scotlands prettiest towns and the Knockencrag Geopark is a great walk and so interesting to find out how our rocks and mountains are formed. The views are outstanding. The waterfall is only a short walk from the car park and definitely has the wow factor! Ardvreck Castle is a 16th century ruin is the most picturesque spot and the Kylesku Hotel, where we will be stopping for refreshments is one of Scotlands Award Winning gems! I love this tour so much, I do it on my days off!

Kylesku Bridge

Operates: I will pick you up from your accommodation in Inverness around 9am and we wil head north towards Ullapool where we can stop and stretch the legs before heading north to the Geopark at Knockancrag. We then head north west to Unapool and another stop at the Wailing Widow Falls, a spectacular waterfall hidden from sight and just a short walk up the river for stunning pictures of this natural wonder. After all our fresh air and walking it’s time to head to the award winning Kylesku Hotel to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch by the shores of Loch Glendhu. Once we are all fed and watered it’s time to head south again and stopping off at Ardvreck Castle -on the shores of Loch Assynt. Just when you are getting ‘comfy’ back in the van – we are stopping in Inchnadamph and walking to The Bone Caves. The remains of animals that have not lived in Scotland for hundreds of years have been discovered here. The perfect walk to work off that delicious lunch! We will have a leisurely drive back towards Inverness with a quick stop at Corrieshalloch Gorge for some more waterfall pics, before I drop you off, tired, happy and ‘toured oot’ at your accommodation in Inverness.
