If you are you hungry for food and culture, then come with us on our Food and Heritage tour of the most delicious venues in town. You will have a multi sensory experience, so you can see, taste, hear, smell and touch the fabric of the past. On a Yomp and Chomp tour we taste a variety of local traditional foods and drinks, so you may want to skip your Breakfast! Walk through the Georgian town tasting foods and drinks in local pubs and other venues and hear the stories of how Weymouth evolved and tales of fame and fortune. As we walk through the town, you will hear stories of Pirates and Smugglers, Kings and Queens, The English Civil War, and the culture of the local people. Stop At: Brewers Quay Hope Square, Weymouth DT4 8TR England

We will begin our walking tour at this point, on the ancient quayside where once the local brewing industry existed. Nearby is the Tudor house that belonged to a Tudor merchant. Taste delicious Dorset Apple Cake near the building where Mad King George once danced the night away.

See the fishing boats, and admire the freshly caught seafood, then cross the lifting bridge and taste some delicious fish. Then take a walk past ancient buildings where evidence of the civil war bombardment can be seen. See buildings from Georgian Times

Admire the sweeping bay with its sandy beaches the first English seaside resort where King George lll and Queen Charlotte made famous the idea of sea-bathing. Visit the ancient pub, the Black Dog where two murders took place and smugglers would have once frequented. Here you can eat like a ploughman and taste Blue Vinny.
