4-Day Niagara Falls Washington DC Philadelphia & Amish Country

Experience Niagara Falls, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Amish Country. Drive through amazing sceneries in Finger Lakes country, see amazing relics of United States history, and discover unique Amish culture on this 4-day trip.

Start your trip with a transfer from New York to the Finger Lakes region on Day 1, where you will visit Watkins Glen State Park or Montour Falls (during winter, when the Park is inaccessible) and enjoy the amazing Niagara Falls. Continue your Niagara experience on Day 2 as you head to the Horseshoe Falls and take a tour on the Maid of the Mist before your transfer to New Jersey. On Day 3, take a city tour of Philadelphia and reach Lancaster County to discover the Amish lifestyle before being transferred to Washington D.C. On Day 4 enjoy the spectacular landmarks, monuments and memorials of the city before heading back to New York.

 

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from New York, Finger Lakes & Niagara Falls

Stop At: Arlington National Cemetery, Entrance at Arlington Memorial Bridge, Arlington, VA 22211
Experience the incredible view of the American side of the falls, where you will be able to appreciate the power of the falls and the view of Goat Island and Sister Island. End your day with a Niagara Falls night tour to see them colourfully illuminated before transferring to your hotel for overnight.

Stop At: Jefferson Memorial, 701 E Basin Dr SW At the south shore of the Tidal Basin, Washington DC, DC 20242
Get ready to experience your second day at the incredible Niagara Falls. You will head to the Horseshoe Falls to take an amazing tour aboard the Maid of the Mist (Only available from May to October). If you are travelling during the months from November to April, when the Maid of the Mist is closed, you will be visiting the Scenic Tunnels instead. 

Stop At: Washington Monument, 2 15th St. NW Near 15th St. & Madison Dr. NW, Washington DC, DC 20560
Start your day with a transfer to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s largest city, also known as “The City of Brotherly Love”. Your tour will start with a visit to Philly's most iconic landmarks. End your experience stopping at the Amish marketplace where you will be able to shop for handmade products. Overnight in Washington D.C.

Stop At: Korean War Veterans Memorial, 10 Daniel French Dr SW, Washington DC, DC 20002
Get ready to experience incredible Washington D.C. Start your tour with a visit to all of the city's most famous monuments, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Continue your tour at the Arlington National Cemetery, where you will have the opportunity to see the John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame. Next we will visit two fascinating monuments, the Stone of Hope, dedicated to Civil Rights Movement leader Martin Luther King, and Thomas Jefferson Memorial, dedicated to the third President of the United States and the main author of the Declaration of Independence. Pay a visit to the Air and Space Museum before seeing the iconic Capitol, Senate and White House, the nucleus of the US government. This adventure will come to an end as you head back to New York, arriving late in the evening.

Stop At: John F. Kennedy Grave Site, 1 Sheridan Dr, Arlington, VA 22211
Experience the incredible view of the American side of the falls, where you will be able to appreciate the power of the falls and the view of Goat Island and Sister Island. End your day with a Niagara Falls night tour to see them colourfully illuminated before transferring to your hotel for overnight.

Stop At: 2 Lincoln Memorial Cir NW, Washington DC, DC 20037
Experience the incredible view of the American side of the falls, where you will be able to appreciate the power of the falls and the view of Goat Island and Sister Island. End your day with a Niagara Falls night tour to see them colourfully illuminated before transferring to your hotel for overnight.
