Aloha,The North Shore of Kauai is not to be missed. Pick you up at ship or lodging. Just you and your party in a 4 pass car. So many people opt for the Waimea Canyon, which is amazing, but the scenic wonders of the East and North Shore of Kauai often go unseen because people choose the canyon. The tropical vistas and beaches abound on the North Shore tour. We go by mark Zuckerberg's property, too.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: 'Opaeka'a Falls, Wailua Homesteads, HI 96746, USA

Opeakaa falls and we go to a lookout where I use Kauai's landscape as a visual aid to it's geography, history and sustainability. This is usually our first stop to get you oriented on the island, why it rains so much in certain places and how tectonic plates affect Hawaii's map.

Stop At: Wailua Falls, Maalo Rd off Hwy 580, Lihue, Kauai, HI

Pass By: Kauai's Hindu Monastery, 107 Kaholalele Rd, Kapaa, Kauai, HI 96746-9304

If our timing is right we can go but I try to stop if we can. Lovely grounds, beautiful scenery, very interesting. They have short hours for visiting and this is not a "tourist stop". People come here from all over the world to see the temple built to last a 1,000 years.

Pass By: Kealia Beach, Highway 56 North of Kapaa, Kealia, Kauai, HI 96746

Mile long beach, usually surfers or kid's skipping school to surf.

Stop At: Anahola Beach Park, Anahola Road Mile Marker 13, Anahola, Kauai, HI 96703

Drive down a bucolic lane and opens up to Anahola beach

Stop At: Moloa'a Beach, 3531 Moloaa Rd, Kilauea, Kauai, HI 96754

Very out of the way location where you can sneak a peek where the boat from Gilligan's Island washed up in the pilot. Beautiful small bay.

Stop At: Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, Lighthouse Road, Kilauea, Kauai, HI 96754

This is the Lighthouse! Gorgeous, my first job was here. Unless you want to take the time to go on the site we can but usually we just do a look see from the lookout. Northernmost point of the Hawaiian Islands.

retirement community depending on time and interest and now that the North shore past Hanalie is open we usually opt for spending time out farther on the island.

Stop At: Hanalei Bay, Kauai, HI

This, to me, is the crown in the jewel of what the best of Kauai offers. Beach voted best in America 2009, and you'll see why. Gorgeous beach, unsurpassed scenery and just a place you can chill and people watch.

Driving passed Hanalei it doesn't get any better and Haena is as far as we can go unless you get a permit 30 days before to go to Ke'e beach.
