Stop At: Alcatraz Island, Pier 33, San Francisco, CA 94123

EVERYDAY, Part 1

This is the famous and official tour of Alcatraz endorsed by the National Park Services!
- Arrive at the ticket booth on Pier 33 no later than your tour start time. Your ferry to Alcatraz will leave 30 minutes later.
- To get your tickets you need your tour voucher, plus everyone in your group with their government issued photo IDs in hand.
- You will not meet a guide or your group during this portion of the tour.
- When you arrive on the island, you are receive a self-guided audio tour headset.
- After the self-guided tour of the jailhouse, you are free to explore Alcatraz Island.
- You may return on any ferry. They leave every 30-40 minutes.
- Give yourself enough time to eat lunch before your beer tour.

MONDAY-FRIDAY, Part 2: 2pm-6pm

During the rest of the tour, you will visit two more excellent craft beer breweries or bars for more to drink, plus see and learn about the area which was home to most of SF's pre-prohibition breweries and is now the hub of our tech scene. Raise your beer IQ, celebrate with other beer lovers, and get to know a part of San Francisco many tourists never see.

Your beer tour starts at Barrel Head Brewhouse, one of the most fun, lively, and creative breweries in the city.

Meet your guide and your new drinking buddies here. Taste four delicious and freshly made beers as we discuss the flavors of Barrel Head's unique concoctions. As you walk to two other breweries for more beer, you will flashback to the 1967 Summer of Love and gain a deeper understanding of the lovely, character-filled neighborhood where the whole hippie scene rose to prominence. While at Magnolia Pub, we will take you down into the depths of their space-savvy and character-filled basement brewery--which the public is rarely allowed to visit.
