We are located right off of the 'Road to Hana' and 25 minutes from Paia town. We are Maui's North Shore's hidden treasure! You will start by going on a Farm Tour. Here you will take in all the beauty of Hale Akua Garden Farm – an ocean front farm that grows a range of fruits, vegetables and native Hawaiian produce. Along the way you will learn about organic gardening, plant nutrition and sustainable farming practices. During this tour you will have the opportunity to connect with the Farm Animals ranging from sheep, chickens, ducks and fish. Many wonderful photo opportunities here! You will also be shown how to interact with the animals and learn about raising and caring for the animals. Last but not least, you will finish about learning about the Hawaiian traditional leis and have beautiful flowers ready for you to make a lei of your own! This is truly a unique learning experience that takes place in the magnificently beautiful Hale Akua Garden Farm! Be sure to bring your camera!

Stop At: Hale Akua Garden Farm & Eco-Retreat, 110 Door of Faith Rd, Haiku, HI 96708, USA

We are located on the Road to Hana, on Maui's beautiful North Shore, at Hale Akua Garden Farm & Eco-Retreat Center. First we will provide you with a tour around the beautiful lush organic farm, and visit some of the different animal habitats, then we will go into a petting barn where we will bring some of the animals to you as well for feeding time.

You will have the opportunity to spend time with the animals, get to know their various characteristics and plenty of unique photo opportunities as well!

We will be providing you lots of information as you interact and feed the animals. We will cover topics such as foods for the animals, care-taking, rotational grazing, characteristics of each animal and, depending upon your level of interest, can dive deep into techniques and information about these farm animals.

Be sure to bring your camera so you can snap lots of pictures of you interacting with these animals in our jungle paradise!
