Area 51 ET Highway Photo & Astronomy Tour from Las Vegas

The Extraterrestrial Highway is a lonely stretch of road through the Nevada desert where UFO sightings are rumored to be commonplace. This highway is legendary, privy to the many top secret activities at the Area 51 military base and subsequently serving as a backdrop for film makers and conspiracy theorists alike. Only after standing on the highway yourself...alone in the middle of nowhere...can you understand its mysterious draw. We'll venture to many places including the Alien Research Center, Area 51, the Little A'Le'Inn and the site of the Black Mailbox. All of this combined with the opportunity to both UFO hunt and stargaze at night is a dream come true for alien enthusiasts!

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Alien Research Center, 100 Extraterrestrial Highway, Hiko, NV 89017

Our afternoon begins with hotel pickup in Vegas (time varies depending upon time of year) and a ride to Hiko, Nevada and the Alien Research Center for information on the subject of extraterrestrials, as well as photos and trinkets that are out of this world!

Pass By: Extraterrestrial Highway, Nevada 375, Rachel, NV

After leaving the center, our group continues with its tour of the Extraterrestrial Highway. The photo ops will be many and our guide will point them all out to you! Hear the aircraft? This is restricted airspace, so anything flying above belongs to the military...or at least it should, we suppose.

Stop At: Area 51, Rachel, NV 89001

The group will then make the drive to the boundary of Area 51, where it will experience that certain sense of nervousness one gets when being monitored through binoculars by the Men in Black. The white SUV always sits at the top of the hill, which you may have heard from watching either UFO Files or Ancient Aliens. Some say that you can actually hear a high-pitched sound when the agents are eavesdropping on you. All we have to say is, "Obey the signs! We can do nothing to help you if they take you away."

Stop At: Little A'Le'Inn, 9631 Old Mill Rd, Alamo, NV 89001, USA

Eventually we'll arrive at the Little A'Le'Inn in Rachel, a bar cafe made famous by its appearance in the 2011 science-fiction movie, Paul. All will be invited to grab a bite to eat, view the movie memorabilia and shop for souvenirs. May we recommend an Area 51 Nevada license plate?

Stop At: The Black Mailbox, Nevada State Route 375, Alamo, NV

Whether you've seen the movie "Paul" or not, you'll experience that sunset ride to the site of the infamous Black Mailbox, without backing into a hillbilly SUV beforehand. LOL There we will view the galaxy and beyond through our Celestron Nexstar 8SE. Learn about the equipment, participate in its setup and operation and see the moon, planets and stars like you've never seen them before...well, unless you've been to an actual observatory, of course. If you' re deciding whether to visit the ET Highway by day or by night, we recommend doing both with us on this ALL IN ONE trip! Night time is a fantastic opportunity to experience the entire UFO sub-culture as well as watch the skies for UFO's while awaiting your turn to look through the telescope.

It's a personal experience to see the rings of Saturn through a telescope for the very first time! To think that the planet's actual light traveled millions of miles through the vastness of space directly to your eye! However, the planets are only the beginning of your journey. Our telescopes have an astronomical database of over 40,000 objects from which to choose for your viewing pleasure. (Please bear in mind that all objects are not visible at all times.)
