Black & White Film Photography Workshop The Complete Process

We are the only community darkroom in the state of Hawaii. You will spend a full day shooting black and white film on your vacation, processing that film, then creating handmade prints! Our goal is to make sure you enjoy learning the traditional chemical process of photography, and ensuring you go home with tangible memories of your experience. The workshop is from 9am-6pm with an hour lunch break.

Stop At: S.H. Kress Co. Building, 174 Kamehameha Ave, Hilo, HI 96720, USA

The Hawaii Darkroom is located next to the Kress Building in Hilo, Hawaii. We will spend an hour on film, camera, and lab orientation before going on a photo walk. After the hour photo walk the rest of the time will be spent in The Hawaii Darkroom developing film and making prints.
