City Muir Woods and Sausalito Tour

On my tour, you will journey through San Francisco's unique districts and visit famous landmarks, all while learning interesting facts and historical commentary as you go. We will stop for plenty of photo opportunities, but I won't make you feel rushed. After exploring the city we will cross the Golden Gate Bridge and enter Muir Woods, one of the country's most magical Redwood Tree forests, with trees over 1,000 years old and over 250 feet tall.

After spending over an hour at Muir Woods we will catch a bus to Sausalito, the picturesque waterfront community, world renowned for its Mediterranean flair and breathtaking views. Once in Sausalito, we will have the ending of our tour, so we will return to San Francisco by ferry.

Twin Peaks is the second highest point in San Francisco (Mount Davidson is the highest). This is a really popular SF viewpoint location due to its prime 360 degree and uninhabited view of the city and not to mention these peaks sit in the geographical center of SF.

Japanese Tea Garden is scenic and serene, the garden is a must if visiting the golden gate park. There is a steep bridge which makes a fun photo opportunity for both kids and adults.

52,000-square-foot building that stood on a precipice at the edge of the Pacific on the west side of U.S. Highway 1, just across from the former Fort Ord military installation.

Stop At: Golden Gate Bridge, US-101, San Francisco, CA 94129

The Golden Gate Bridge is an iconic structure connecting the city of San Francisco to Marin County, California. It spans almost two miles across the Golden Gate, the narrow strait where San Francisco Bay opens to meet the Pacific Ocean.

Stop At: Slacker Hill, Near Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, CA 94965

Slackers Hill has a great vantage point and due to the steep climb, there are rarely many onlookers.
