After pickup from your hotel, head to Florida’s west coast aboard your comfortable coach. During the bus ride, approximately 1.5 hours from Orlando to Clearwater, your driver will inform you about what you’ll find at Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. When you arrive, explore at your leisure – swim, sunbathe or take a walk – digging your toes into miles of soft, white sand at Clearwater Beach.

If you wish, rent a beach umbrella and chair, as well as snorkeling and other watersports equipment – all available on the beach. Browse the souvenir shops for T-shirts or postcards, or head down to Pier 60 and watch the pelicans gather around the fishermen’s daily catch.

When you’re hungry for lunch, simply use your voucher (if option selected) at the marina café across the street from the beach; you can eat there or enjoy a Clearwater Beach picnic. Alcoholic drinks, soda and water are sold separately.

In total, you’ll have about seven to eight hours in Clearwater, depending on traffic from Orlando. If you wish to upgrade your tour, you can choose from a speedboat ride aboard the Sea Screamer, head to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium or enjoy a dolphin cruise!

From Clearwater Beach, cruise past Clearwater Harbor and Sand Key Park as the captain shares interesting facts about the area. Then it’s off to the open waters for an exhilarating ride!

Hold onto your hat as the boat screams past resorts and beaches. With its dual twin turbo-charged diesel engines, the 72-foot (22-meter) Sea Screamer reaches speeds up to 35 miles (56 km) per hour. As you zip along the shoreline, look out for bottlenose dolphins that leap in and out of the wake.

Head to the marina for your one-hour dolphin-encounter cruise. Watch for native bottlenose dolphins -- the sea's most lovable creatures -- as they play in their natural habitat. Snap photos of them jumping and swimming along the boat, and admire views of the beautiful shorelines of Clearwater and Caladesi Island. A $10 wristband can be purchased on board for unlimited beer, wine, vodka punch.

See Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays and sharks. Feed a stingray, watch a dolphin show and have your photo taken with a dolphin. You can also take a behind-the-scenes tour of the animal hospital and visit the theater to watch footage of the aquarium's team rescuing and treating injured animals.

You won’t want to miss Winter, the world-famous dolphin whose story inspired the hit movie Dolphin Tale. After losing her tail in a crab trap, she was rescued and fitted with a prosthetic tail. Now she’s healthy and swimming freely! Take a journey inside the movie with re-built scenes, movie images and actual props used in the film.
