The excursion starts with an hour walk around the Art District, where we will visit some of the finest Pritzker award-winning architecture in the world. The second hour of the excursion is comprised of a highlight tour of the Dallas Museum of Art's collection. (We will walk lees than a mile during this experience.)

Booker T. Washington High School was the first African-American high school in Dallas. In 1976, the school re-opened as a magnet high school to educate gifted artists with both the potential and the aspiration for careers in the arts. Famous graduates including Norah Jones, Erykah Badu and Roy Hargrove
