Eight miles north of town our guide will share facts and stories about the construction of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Snap a photo of your group underneath this engineering wonder of the world.

Stop At: Large Animal Research Station, 2220 Yankovich Rd, Fairbanks, AK 99709-6508

Visit the Large Animal Research Station (LARS) to get close to unique arctic animals: the muskox and caribou. Learn about qiviut and all of the wonderfully soft products made from muskox wool.
