Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike. It's intuitive, but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. You'll have 20 - 25 minutes of training prior to beginning the tour so you can get familiar with the most innovative transportation device of the millennium. You will practice on the Segway until everyone feels comfortable and ready to tour Golden Gate Park!

The Music Concourse with 3 fountains and Temple of Music are the starting location for the Segway tour. The DeYoung and California Academy are located in the Music Concourse

The magnificent Victorian glass wood framed conservatory was erected in 1879 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Starting in 1893 Stow Lake has been the destination for romantic row boat rides, pink popcorn, picnics and wildlife viewing. One of the sites is Huntington Waterfall cascades down Strawberry Hill and spilling into Stow Lake.

Built in 1896, the McLaren Lodge was for 47 years the home of John McLaren, the Park Superintendent and caretaker of Golden Gate Park. In front of the Lodge is a Monterey cypress nicknamed ‘Uncle John’s Tree’ and for 80 year has been San Francisco's official holiday tree.
