Grand Canyon Railroad Excursion
Take a step back in time as you travel on the historic Grand Canyon Railroad for a one-way train ride to Grand Canyon National Park. Each car of this Arizona railroad, which made it's maiden voyage in 1901, has been restored to its original state. Sit back as the crew members share engaging commentary about the train, it's history and many journeys. Upon arriving at the Grand Canyon Village, you will be able to see your first view of the canyon immediately. There will be time for lunch on your own after arriving at the canyon. You will then rejoin your guide as you travel across the south rim, taking in the majestic views of the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Your expert guide will describe the history, geology, flora and fauna as you stop at amazing vistas. On your way back, you will travel across the southwest corner of the Navajo Nation Tribal Land, with a stop for souvenir shopping at the historic Cameron Trading Post.
