Visit and take a private tour of one of the greenest buildings in the world designed to inspire generations to protect the Chesapeake Bay. Then take a guided nature walk with a naturalist at Pleasure House Point Natural Area.

What to Expect:

Take a tour of a “smart-building” which is one of the nation’s first to embrace energy and water independence and a place with many inspiring innovations.

Then take a guided nature walk with a naturalist around Pleasure House Point Natural Area. Observe a diverse range of habitats provided by the tidal wetlands of the Bay. Home to many species, including the iconic Chesapeake Bay blue crab, diamond back terrapin, and the Lynnhaven oyster. The area also provides food and habitats for many bird, reptile and amphibian species.
