Havana Nights Flan Rum & Dominoes

"Havana Nights" gives guests the opportunity to engage in a cultural activity that is typical of how a Cuban family would spend an evening modern Miami or pre-revolutionary Havana. The activity is immersive: from the dominoes to the music to sipping drinks that originated in Cuba, everything about the experience is authentically Cuban. In two hours we will attempt to understand and harness the power of Cuban culture for bringing people together, all while having an amazing time doing so.

Itinerary

The idea for Havana Nights is super simple: To bring strangers together in a culturally authentic way that demonstrates the power of "cubanidad" for creating meaningful connections.

What does that mean? That means we'll be experiencing a typical get-together in 1950s Havana, where doors were always unlocked and everyone was invited. Here's what's on the itinerary:

1st - I'll show you how to make a mojito and a Cuba Libre, two traditional Cuban cocktails whose origins date back to late 19th and early 20th century Havana.

2nd - I'll teach you how to play Cuban dominoes. For us, "jugando dominó" is a traditional pastime equivalent to playing cards or poker.

3rd - We'll enjoy my abuela's secret-recipe flan cubano. The age-old family recipe comes straight from Cuba and will literally make your mouth water.

Finally, no Cuban "pachanga" (party) is ever complete without authentic Cuban coffee no matter how late at night it is. I'll make you some and show you how it's done!
