You will be sailing on an open bay in a traditional sloop rigged sailboat with the wind in your hair and hand on the tiller.

Itinerary

This 3 hour on the water course is designed to give each student a full hands on sailing experience. Students will take the helm, hoist the main, and trim the jib under the guidance of a certified ASA sailing instructor. We will have a short dock talk identifying the parts of a sailboat, points of sail, and basic sailing maneuvers. Then it is out on the bay for 2.5 hours of fun and exciting sailing instruction. By the end of the course you'll have enough salty knowledge to set sail on calm waters.
