Want to learn to rock climb and have a great time? Then this is the perfect class for you! After a moderate warm-up hike, you will approach one of the most beautiful rock walls in the world--Looking Glass Rock. And after a brief introduction, you will start exploring the vertical world--one exhilarating hold at a time. The higher you climb, the better the view. Along the way you will learn the rudiments of rock climbing. Let our AMGA certified instructors design a day of climbing to thrill and inspire you!

After meeting at the Bi-Lo parking lot, we will drive into the wilderness of Pisgah National Forest and park at the Looking Glass Rock trailhead. We will hike into the deep forest to the base of the majestic Looking Glass Rock. At the base, we will unpack and begin our day of climbing on the shoulders of this enormous mountain.
