Our private single day hiking tours lasting up to 6 hours, are the perfect way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Joshua Tree National Park. After meeting at our office, Your guide will drive you through the most incredible parts of the park, on-route to your hike for the day. From the trailhead, you will enjoy a mostly off-trail adventure through the Joshua Tree wilderness. Towering rock formations, canyons, sweeping vistas and surreal landscapes from another planet await you around every bend. Enjoy an optional lunch on the trail before continuing your journey. All along the way, your expert guide will share the history and geology of the Park, along with a myriad of stories and talks about the plants, animals and other unique characteristics of the Park. You may even get in some epic rock scrambling to the top of some of our famous rock formations for views and experiences rarely had by others. 

Your tour guides provide unparalleled discovery opportunities for all types of explorers. They cater to all and will personalize your journey, based on your individual needs and capabilities. If you are in the area or, just passing through, you are in for an incredible trip filled with exploration, education and fun on one of these challenging escorted hikes. You have the option to add lunch and roundtrip hotel transportation or you are welcome to bring your own and meet us in Joshua Tree.  

For the best experience, come prepared. Long pants and sleeves are recommended to protect you from the sun, as well as as sturdy, comfortable, closed-toed hiking boots or trail shoes as the terrain varies and can be rugged at times. To avoid discomfort, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, lip balm and a hat. In the high desert, the weather can change rapidly, so bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. A backpack or other convenient bag is great for holding anything you might need. Of course, a camera is recommended, to capture your memories. Most importantly, bring a sense of adventure and a desire for discovery.
