Itinerary

Kayak from West Maui’s Olowalu Beach and Marine Reserve into the heart of the Hawaiian Islands National Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary and experience one of natures most majestic creatures...the Humpback Whale!

Each winter over 15000 Humpback Whales travel from their summer feeding grounds in the North Pacific to the warm waters of Hawaii to birth and breed...whale sightings are guaranteed from January to April...close encounters are common!

Kayaks are outfitted with a wireless speaker connected to an underwater microphone...hear whales talk, navigate and sing - LIVE - during your tour!!

Tour departs and ends from Olowalu Beach State Marine reserve (Hwy 30 at mile 14.5)
The reserve is home to colorful corals, 1000's of tropical fishes, 100's of giant sea turtles and is a Humback Whale birthing area.

Guides are Hawaii Marine Naturalists, American Red Cross CPR, First-Aid, and Lifeguard Certified. They have years of experience kayaking and diving Hawaiian waters and provide expert information on Humpback Whale behavior and marine science.
