When the cuban revolution took place in 1959, the story of Miami had a unexpected turn of events: In just one decade more than four hundred thousands cubans arrived to Miami, changing for ever the cultural landscape of Miami. Follow the music and the voice in this soundwalk where you can take a stroll in the calle 8, listen to the snaps of the dominos, the anecdotes, the music and overall stories behind this vibrant neighborhood, Passing by Maximo Gomez park, the Tower Theatre where immigrants used to visit to learn english with spanish movies with english subtitles upon their arrival and Calle 13.
