Manta Ray Swim

Your boat will take off just as the sun sets in the sky. Watch the horizon glow as the sun seems to sink into the water. As night takes over, the plankton will begin to gather and so will the manta rays. Your knowledgable guide will escort you in the water so that you can easily see the mantas somersaulting beneath you. The sunset tour can be an adventurous outing for couples or families.

Your evening begins at the Honokohau Marine where you will be given an educational and safety briefing on the manta rays.  You guide will outfit you with the necessary snorkel equipment, including a wetsuit.  We will depart as the sun is setting and zip up to the manta site - a quick 15-20 minute ride.

Once dark you will slip into the water to view the graceful underwater ballet of the manta rays. You will be surrounding a snorkel board and additional floatation is provided.  After spending 45 minutes in the water you will board the boat for a quick ride back to the harbor.
