Itinerary

San Ignacio Lagoon is a whale watcher’s paradise, as the Pacific gray whales make their annual migration south from the Arctic to these protected waters to mate and calve. The lagoon forms part of the Vizcaino Reserve, the largest Natural Protected Area in Latin America. Our programming supports local research efforts to learn about and protect gray whales and their habitat.
