Itinerary
San Ignacio Lagoon is a whale watchers paradise, as the Pacific gray whales make their annual migration south from the Arctic to these protected waters to mate and calve. The lagoon forms part of the Vizcaino Reserve, the largest Natural Protected Area in Latin America. Our programming supports local research efforts to learn about and protect gray whales and their habitat. Its no wonder our trip is touted in 1,000 Places to See before You Die. The trip rating is easy and is perfect for families.
