Napa Valley Wine Weekend November 6-9 2020

Trouvaille knows Napa and we give you a jam-packed weekend of fun you'll remember forever! Napa is know for wine, but there is so much more to do: from a hot air balloon ride and sampling the fine cuisine in the area to visiting different wineries and exploring downtown Napa, this is the perfect getaway for couples and groups looking for a fun weekend.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrivals and Welcome Reception: November 6, 2020.

Stop At: Napa, Napa, Napa Valley, California
The group will meet at the Candlelight Inn, get settled into our rooms, and meet for a welcome reception. Travelers will meet-and-greet, sample wines, receive their welcome gifts, and get the details for the very fun weekend ahead.
Duration: 2 hours

Meals included:
• Lunch: We will meet at the Inn for to gather the group, provide introductions, pass out welcome gifts,
• Dinner: Dinner will be in downtown Napa at Basalt

Day 2: Wineries, Wine Trains, and more! November 7, 2020.

Stop At: Sterling Vineyards, 1111 Dunaweal Ln Between Highway 29 and Silverado Trail, Calistoga, CA 94515-9635
Our first stop of the day will be to Sterling Vineyards, where we will enjoy the Platinum tasting experience that pairs select wines with tapas. This is a tasty and fun experience that features a personal host and even an appearance by the chef during the tastings! Afterwards, the group will enjoy a self-guided tour of the winery to witness the wine-making process, sample more wines, and maybe even buy some wine to take home! Another feature of the vineyard is the aerial tram that we ride to get to the winery, which is fun and scenic in its own right.

Stop At: Napa, Napa, Napa Valley, California
After Sterling Vineyards, we will return to Napa and the group will have a couple hours to explore the downtown area. Downtown Napa is a fun, scenic, and eclectic area to visit with many wine stores, winery shops, and stores to enjoy.

Stop At: Napa Valley Wine Train, 1275 McKinstry St, Napa, CA 94559, USA
We will enjoy a gourmet dinner on a 3-hour train ride this evening.
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Dinner: We will board the Napa Valley Wine Train for an elegant 3-hour dinner on the train.
• Lunch: Lunch will be provided during the Platinum Tastings Experience at Sterling Vineyards.
Accommodation included: Candlelight Inn.

Day 3: Hot Air Balloon Ride. November 8, 2020.

Stop At: Balloons Above the Valley, 603 California Blvd, Napa, CA 94559, USA
We will rise early Sunday morning, make our way downtown, and get ready for a lovely hot air balloon ride! We will soar about 1 mile above the valley, drift for about an hour, learn what we can see from the balloon, take loads of photos, and then gently land. We will then return to downtown Napa, celebrate with a champagne brunch, and grab the photos of you and your family after the balloon ride.

Stop At: Chateau Montelena, 1429 Tubbs Ln, Calistoga, CA 94515-9726
Our next winery visit will be to Chateau Montelena, a winery situated inside a vine-covered castle, set in a secluded area with a lake. We will enjoy wine tastings, tour the site, and learn how this winery let the world know that California can rival any wines in the world -- including those in France.

• Lunch: Our champagne brunch after our balloon ride will serve as our lunch for the day.
• Dinner: Torc is a vibrant, fun restaurant in Napa
Accommodation included: Candlelight Inn.

Day 4: November 9, 2020

Stop At: Sacramento International airport, 1991 E Onstott Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991, USA
After breakfast, Trouvaille will provide transportation for guests to the airport for their travels home.

• Lunch: Guests will receive breakfast on the morning of departure day. Transportation will be provided to the airport.
