Off Grid Grand Canyon Adventure

My name is AJ Richards. I am a southern Utah native a father of 3 daughters and I have spent the majority of my life exploring the southern Utah area and helping my family move cattle on the Arizona Strip. Growing up with the north rim of the Grand Canyon as my playground has given me the opportunity to learn about hidden secrets that you would never experience at the Grand Canyon with a major tour operator. Places like hidden petroglyphs, hard to find lookouts with magnificent views, and the history of the people who settled there, which happen to be my ancestors.

I am not your average tour guide. I have an extensive background in adventure as an Army veteran, Wildland firefighter, and cowboying on the ranch. These experiences have helped me develop communication skills with people from all over the world.

Stop At: Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Depart St. Geroge at 7:30 AM to head out to the Grand Canyon on the Arizona strip.

Our drive will be approximately 2 -2 1/2 hours of beautiful remote wilderness consisting of a variety of desert and high desert landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for different types of wildlife such as antelope, red tail hawks, California condors, coyotes, and even mountain lions if we are lucky.

We will arrive at the Tuweep Grand Canyon park at approximately 10 AM. The roads get especially rough here so keep your seat belts tight and get your cameras ready for the last mile of our adventure to the Grand Canyon overlook.

Once we arive we will spend approximately 2 hours at the Grand Canyon where I will be on hand to help take photos of you and your friends in this unbelievable landscape. There are a couple of hiking trails to take advantage of as well if that's something you would like to do.

During our stop, we will enjoy a lunch that we provide for you while at the lookout. There are well-maintained outhouses at the lookout so no squatting behind a bush is necessary!

From here we will make our way back to St. George and be back by 3:30 PM baring any flat tires.
