This tour is led by one of Oregon's wine pioneers. It's not your traditional wine tour; you will be immersed in wine culture! Oregon’s amazing Willamette Valley located just outside the Portland metro area is nature’s masterpiece for growing cool-climate grapes, such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its deep and complex soils, gently rolling hills, annual rainfall, cool and moderate seasonal temperatures, and long summer daylight coalesce to produce elite and delicious world-class wines. There are over 450 wineries located in the region, offering you diverse sites in which to explore vineyards, cellars, and tasting rooms. Each location is unique in the size of the vineyard and wine production, particular wine-making techniques, hospitality services, and views offered, as well as wines available for tasting.
