GUIDED HIKES AT INDIAN PEAKS

Enjoy the best of the best when it comes to getting out there and spending time in the back-country of the Rocky Mountains. The hike to Columbine Lake will take you through dense spruce-fir forests into subalpine stands and finally the stunning views of the lake and Indian Peaks. Our experienced Guides’ priority is having a safe, fun and informative tour that connects you more to where you are visiting. We hike in small groups which is recommended for safety to reduce wildlife encounters. Hiking time is between three and five hours, which includes an alpine picnic lunch. Please note that you must have sturdy footwear and we recommend dressing in layers to adapt to constant weather changes.

WILDERNESS SURVIVAL COURSE

You’re lost in the Colorado Rockies. What could you do with an old soda can, your t-shirt and a piece of parachute cord? How about start a fire, purify water, and belay yourself safely across a ravine… and that’s just for starters. This three-hour course gives participants hands-on education in basic wilderness survival including navigation, shelter building, fire starting, edible plants and more. Cooperative projects like shelter building and rappelling create opportunities for strategy, consensus building and team bonding. Great for small corporate groups, families, guys/girls getaways and bridal parties.
