Private Full Day Colorado Spirngs Tour of The Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak

I am fluent in English, French and Spanish. We will explore the Air Force Academy with all of its history and natural beauty.

Next a walk and drive through Garden of the Gods where you will see many different colorful collections of sandstone rock formations.  There are many unique formations and many of the them have names such as the  Kissing Camels and the Cathedral Spires because the formations resemble such objects.  

Continuing on, we will stop in the charming town of Manitou Springs for a quick bite to eat and a few minutes of window shopping. Futhermore, you may sample water from the natural outdoor delicious water fountains.

From Maitou Springs we will drive up Pikes Peak Mountain to an elevation of 14,105 feet where we gaze over the mountain ranges and see why Katherine Lee Bates wrote the lyrics to America the Beautiful as she took in the sights from the summit of this gorgeous mountain.

After a delightful day we head back to Denver.

Stop At: United States Air Force Academy, 4102 Pinion Dr, Colorado Springs, CO 80840-2502

On the way in to Colorado Springs we will stop at spectacular Air Force Academy and visit the impressive chapel with its 17 spires. The inside with its stained glass windos is simply beautiful. From the outside you can see many of the airplanes that have been part of the training grounds. The Visitor Center has a 15 minute free movie that demonstrates what the cadets go through in their four years of training.

Stop At: Garden of the Gods, 1805 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904-1247

We will walk through the Garden of the Gods and explore the different crimson unique rock formations. Then we will drive through the park as well as visit the Visitor Center

Stop At: Pikes Peak, Highway 24, Colorado Springs, CO 80809

We will drive into the second most climbed mountain park in the world. That is is of course Pikes Peak where Katherine Lee Bates wrote the song to America the Beautiful. We will gaze upon the meadows below and stop at many of the different pull over locations.

Stop At: Manitou Springs Incline, Manitou Springs, CO

We will descend from the top of Pikes Peak to Manitou Springs where we will spend some time window shopping and if we would like we could sample the many natural spring water that exists through out the city.
