ProKart Racing at Pocono Raceway

Drive a ProKart and race wheel to wheel on a 3/4 mile road course! At Pocono Raceway, you will race at speeds up to 50mph, only inches off the ground. Great for individuals, families, and groups!

Your day begins with a drivers meeting to go over the rules and procedures for qualifying and racing. ProKarts and safety equipment (additional fee) are provided. Take to the track for a half hour practice/qualifying session. This will be followed by a 3-hour race with 11 mandatory pit stops for driver changes and one fuel stop. Approximately every 15 minutes one team member will flag in the team member that is on the track to come into pit lane and perform a driver change. This keeps the action flowing and the competition close for the entire 3-hour event. At the end of the event we will have a trophy presentation!

Racing options:

Intro to ProKart Racing: This program provides professional training and is a great introduction to kart racing. You will receive personal instruction and 30 minutes of behind the wheel training.

3-Hour Team Kart Race: Race wheel to wheel with up to 14 other teams. Your team of 3 will race wheel to wheel in pro karts. Each team member will take to the track for a 10 minute qualifying session and then your team will go on to an action packed 3-hour race. Teams will be required to perform 11 driver changes during the race. This format builds great camaraderie amongst the teams. Bring your friends or family! It’s fun for all and great for groups.

3-Hour Individual Kart Race: Exactly the same as the team race, but for those who prefer to visit alone or in a pair. Book per person and opt to be added to a team once you reach the raceway. Individual kart races are also a great add-on for fourth or fifth participants after booking a team of three.
