Our museum is located in a one of a kind original 1883 railroad warehouse. We are home to North Carolina's largest model train layout and hold the Guinness World Record since 2011 for Worlds Longest Model Train. We have engaging activities for all ages.

Explore the history of railroading and the Atlantic Coast Line in our 1883 original railroad freight warehouse! Fabulous interactive model trains for all ages. Step aboard a 1910 Locomotive, boxcar and caboose. Play and build with wooden train sets in our Children's Hall. Visit our theater and enjoy local Wilmington artifacts while learning about railroad history, occupations and operations.
