Spring Rafting Trip through the Great Smoky Mountains
Spring is a beautiful time in The Great Smoky Mountains. The vegetation returns, the buds bloom in the Smoky Mountains, and theres no better way to experience the view than rafting down the mighty Upper Pigeon River.
Between Labor Day and Memorial Day we are no longer guaranteed dam release on the Pigeon River. This doesnt mean we do not raft the river, it just means that we are rafting at natural river flows which can be unpredictable. You may discover the rush and excitement of class 3 and 4 rapids or you may enjoy a serene, peaceful scenic trip while rafting between the Great Smoky Mountains and Cherokee national forest. Just ask our staff what the river looks like that day, and well let you know.
